We have some very exciting news to share. Our Chief, John Gunn of Gunn has been named Chieftain of the 2026 Grandfather Mountain Highland Games! This will be the first time John and his wife, Sarah, will be visiting North America in his official capacity as Chief of Clan Gunn.
It will be a great opportunity for you to meet the Chief as well as experience one of the largest Highland events. We are hoping for a big turnout of Clan Gunn and hope you can join us.
If you are considering attending, I highly recommend you look into accommodations as soon as possible. Grandfather Mountain is in a remote location with no hotels on site. Their website has a section devoted to accommodations. However, you may need to book a hotel in one of the nearby towns.
John expressed his excitement at meeting as many of you as possible.
I echo that sentiment, as this will be my first event in that part of the country as President.
